Graz is – with around 300.000 inhabitants – the second biggest town in Austria, it is the capital of Styria and it has been designated a UNESCO world heritage site. The so called “City of Design” is an amazing place to live. The atmosphere is reflective of some Mediterranean destinations – maybe due to the milder climate in Graz. Whether the castle hill, the Mur Island, the Kunsthaus, the castle Eggenberg (also UNESCO world heritage) or the old town itself – Graz is a MUST see for tourists and also a good choice for living.
