83. Thermenland and Oststeiermark

There are of course fantastic thermal resorts throughout Austria, but in eastern Styria they are extensive due to the volcanic activity in the region. Specifically, the political region of the “Oststeiermark” with its regional capital Fürstenfeld is north of the volcanic region of the Thermenland, however, we are also referring to thermal resorts that are not officially belonging to the Thermenland, but to the Oststeiermark (and by the way: some thermal resorts of the Burgenland are not far away, too). But whatever thermal resort is selected: it will deliver a relaxing break on a luxury level – combined with the enjoyment of haute cuisine restaurants nearby and excellent wines – maybe mixed with a short hiking tour – simply perfect for short term recovery from work stress!
