The villages Lech and Zürs in the province of Vorarlberg are – together with the village of Oberlech – forming one of the biggest – and since the connection with some also big areas in Tyrol 2016 (St. Anton, Stuben and St. Christoph) – even THE biggest skiing area of Austria! Since then these areas are reachable by cable car. With around 305 km of continuous ski slopes the area is even among the 5 biggest skiing areas in the world. The legendary ski slopes connecting the villages in the region are called “the White Ring”. But the attractive opportunities for summer tourism should also be mentioned – fantastic hiking and mountain biking trails and many more!
