The region around Seefeld is the same for the province Tyrol what the Ramsau is for Styria: it is the second famous attraction for Nordic skiing in Austria, also because of the Olympic winter games and the Nordic world championships having been held in Seefeld in the past. The region consists of 6 villages, the most famous being Seefeld itself (in total around 250 km of trails). In comparison to the Ramsau the tourists are maybe a bit more international and there is one remarkable statistical figure: the region has one of the highest density of 4-star and 5-star hotels in Austria. Finally, there is a casino and several high quality restaurants, therefore the village is also attracting wealthier tourists. Apart from beautiful opportunities for hiking and cycling during summertime there is a diverse choice of Wellness offers in the region.
