The Tiroler Oberland is a touristic region south of Landeck, consisting of the Oberinntal, the Kaunertal and extending to the alpine Reschen-Pass village Nauders. The region crosses the 3 countries Austria, Switzerland and Italy and has very diverse opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, Rafting, Canyoning and other adventures for the whole family. Beautiful old Tyrolian villages, high moors, canyons, stone pine forests, mountain lakes, waterfalls and even wheat- and barley fields on elevations of over 1.400 m, which are growing there due to the dry and sonny climate. In wintertime the Kaunertaler glacier and the Reschen-Pass allow skiing adventures for all levels. If there is time for a short trip to South Tyrol: the old church tower sunk in the middle of the Reschensee is always worth a picture.
