Bad Kleinkirchheim is a village located in the Gurktaler Alpen in Carinthia. It is a climatic and spa health resort as well as a skiing area. But this has not always been the case, up until the middle of the last century one could observe a strong agricultural presence in the region, it has since developed into one of the 20 most visited tourist villages in Austria – both for winter and summer. A second village to be mentioned in the region is Feld am See with its location beside 2 lakes, and therefore best enjoyed by summer tourists.
