The Türnitzer Alpen are part of the Northern Kalk Alps in the south of Lower Austria and the north of Styria (elevations up to 1.400 m). Interesting activities include hiking and ski-touring, e.g. on the Tirolerkogel with an amazing panoramic view and a famous rest stop, the Annaberghaus – or maybe a visit to the “Göttweig abbey”, which is not far, however, already outside the Türnitzer Alpen.
